This Damson Jam Fine Fragrance Oil has been specifically formulated to create a stronger, longer-lasting scent for use in soap and candle making as well as in oil burners and diffusers.
- Oil burning/diffusion: Combine 5-7 drops of the oil with water and add to an oil burner. Alternatively, place 5-7 drops in a diffuser.
- Bath salts: Suitable for bath salts. We recommend following a tested recipe.
- Soap: Suitable for soapmaking. We recommend following a tested recipe.
- Candles: Suitable for candles. We recommend following a tested recipe.
- Potpourri: Add a few drops to potpourri creations to enhance scent.
- FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY
- Do not apply undiluted to skin.
- Avoid use during pregnancy.

I've never eaten or smelled a damson in my life, but I wanted to give this one a go as the description hooked me. I have to agree that "countryside cottage life" is the perfect way to describe this scent. Think a pie cooling on the windowsill. It could pass as a raspberry or strawberry jam smell too, though the tartness I imagine is what makes it uniquely damson. It's not my favourite of Nikura's fruity scents but that might be because I'm not familiar with this fruit. Give it a try!
