I adore sandalwood in all it's guises and strengths; attar, essential oil, incense, balms and blends.
Nikura have a great one here. Not overpowering when used alone on your body's pulse points, hair, or on your clothes, it's also got enough about it to stand out in a bespoke blend that you can put together at home.
I like using it over a base of patchouli with rose geranium over the top.
A drop of vetiver or cypress and the sandalwood still sings true.
Warm, heady, wood-spice, soft and rounded, this sandalwood oil butters many parsnips. I'd like a bigger bottle.
