1 x 10ml Grapefruit (White) Essential Oil (Citrus Paradisi) - A relative newcomer to the world of aromatherapy, grapefruit has only been used medicinally for the last few centuries but is already making a huge impact. With strong antimicrobial properties, it is often used for cleaning and is also lauded for its invigorating, mood-boosting effects. Grapefruit oil is said to increase energy and reduce ‘brain fog’, helping us to think more clearly and feel less fatigued. Diffusing grapefruit is also a popular hangover remedy, and many people claim it helps to make the morning after far more bearable.
1 x 10ml Lemon Essential Oil (Citrus Limonum) - Lemon is a refreshing, energising oil whose sharp, zesty scent blends well with many other floral and fruity scents. It has an invigorating effect, helping to increase positivity and relieve fatigue and nausea. It is also a popular ingredient in facial toners and home cleaners due to its powerful hygienic properties and its ability to attack harmful microorganisms. When diluted and applied to the skin, it may also provide an effective boost to the lymphatic system.
1 x 10ml Orange (Sweet) Essential Oil (Citrus Sinensis) - Associated with prosperity, oranges have been in use medicinally for hundreds of years. Able to lift spirits and relieve stress, orange oil is considered a brightening, bettering oil that contributes towards overall wellness in many ways. Like other citrus oils, orange oil is an excellent cleaning agent and is often used in homemade cleaning sprays. Sweet orange oil is also reportedly beneficial for skin, however, it should always be patch tested first and applied in the evening, as it may cause a mild phototoxic reaction.
- Aromatherapy: Combine 5-7 drops of the oil with water and add to an oil burner. Alternatively, place 5-7 drops in a diffuser.
- Massage: Dilute 5 drops to 10ml of carrier oil and massage into skin.
- Bath: Add 6-8 drops to warm bathwater.
- Skincare: Add a couple of drops to a carrier oil or your chosen lotion.
- Soap: Suitable for soapmaking. We recommend following a tested recipe.
- Candles: Suitable for candles. We recommend following a tested recipe.
- Potpourri: Add a few drops to potpourri creations to enhance scent.
