The sharp, zesty scent of lemon oil is known to blend well with many other floral and fruity scents, helping to increase positivity as well as relieve fatigue and nausea.

Lemon oil is also a popular ingredient in facial toners and home cleaners due to its powerful hygienic properties and its ability to attack harmful microorganisms. When diluted and applied to the skin, it may also effectively boost the lymphatic system.

Our 100% Pure Lemon (Cold Pressed) Essential Oil has a sharp, fruity scent and is pale yellow in colour.

Due to the method of extraction, this product is more potent than our Lemon (Steam Distilled) Essential Oil and may be phototoxic, so we cannot recommend applying it to skin.

Lemons have been considered the 'fruit of health' for centuries and were once grown primarily for their medical properties. James Lind is hailed as the father of naval medicine due to his use of lemon extract to treat scurvy.

Aromatherapy: Combine 5-7 drops of the oil with water and add to an oil burner. Alternatively, place 5-7 drops in a diffuser.
Massage: Dilute 5 drops to 10ml of carrier oil and massage into skin.
Bath: Add 6-8 drops to warm bathwater.
Skincare: Add a couple of drops to a carrier oil or your chosen lotion.
Soap: Suitable for soapmaking. We recommend following a tested recipe.
Candles: Suitable for candles. We recommend following a tested recipe.
Potpourri: Add a few drops to potpourri creations to enhance scent.
