Grapefruit (White) (Citrus paradisi)
A natural stimulant, grapefruit oil helps to relieve stress and anxiety and boost positivity. It is thought that it stimulates the endocrine glands that affect our hormones, providing an uplifting, balancing effect.
Lemon (Citrus limonum)
Lemon has been found to increase heart rate and facilitate enhanced performance in both mental and physical tasks.
The oil is also said to fight exhaustion, boosting positivity and giving us the tools we need to face the day.
Spearmint (Mentha spicata)
Spearmint's sugary scent is sweeter and more subtle than bold peppermint, allowing us to wake up more gently. This oil helps to provide mental clarity and promotes positivity.
Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis)
Sweet orange is said to improve concentration and energise the mind.
It can also have a positive effect on respiratory conditions, providing clarity and relieving discomfort so that we start the day on the right foot.
- Aromatherapy: Combine 5-7 drops of the oil with water and add to an oil burner. Alternatively, place 5-7 drops in a diffuser.
- Massage: Dilute 5 drops to 10ml of carrier oil and massage into skin.
- Bath: Add 6-8 drops to warm bathwater.
- Skincare: Add a couple of drops to a carrier oil or your chosen lotion.
- Soap: Suitable for soapmaking. We recommend following a tested recipe.
- Candles: Suitable for candles. We recommend following a tested recipe.
- Potpourri: Add a few drops to potpourri creations to enhance scent.
