Garden mint essential oil is highly similar in benefits to the more famous peppermint oil.
Like peppermint oil, garden mint can help energise the body and reduce muscle ache, making it a useful oil for athletes.
Garden mint is also an effective decongestant, clears airways and allows easier breathing.
Our 100% Pure Garden Mint Essential Oil is pale yellow. Sweeter and fresher than peppermint oil, garden mint has a sweet, herby scent reminiscent of spearmint. It is extracted from the garden mint herb native to North America.

Botanical Name: Mentha Sachalinensis
Mint has been used for centuries to treat stomach ailments, freshen breath, and cure a range of other complaints. It was a popular remedy amongst the Romans who brought it to Britain when they invaded.
- Aromatherapy: Combine 5-7 drops of the oil with water and add to an oil burner. Alternatively, place 5-7 drops in a diffuser.
- Massage: Dilute 5 drops to 10ml of carrier oil and massage into skin.
- Bath: Add 6-8 drops to warm bathwater.
- Skincare: Add a couple of drops to a carrier oil or your chosen lotion.
- Soap: Suitable for soapmaking. We recommend following a tested recipe.
- Candles: Suitable for candles. We recommend following a tested recipe.
- Potpourri: Add a few drops to potpourri creations to enhance scent.
